“I DID NOT BUY MY CHARGER IT WAS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE ONE THAT DIED AFTER 1 MONTH OF USE THAT CAME WITH A BRAND NEW WOLF KING GT.
I give this charger a mid tier 3/5 rating, mainly as I don't have anything to compare it too. It works, slowly.
But I believe efficiently, which is a good thing.
I have heard on YouTube reviews and read on a few forums that 4-5ah fast chargers charge TOO fast, and do not fully charge batteries, even when display screens show that they are charged.
But again, I am not sure as i have not tried them myself.
I am not an youtube PEV (performance electronic vehicle) reviewer.
For reference full charge on a WKGT is 84v, my WKGT only makes it to 83v, so far, straight out of the box.
I have heard from the internet that flat is around 59v on an 84v scooter.
But not found out myself yet.
It takes two 1.5ah batteries about 10-11hours (one 1.5ah about 20hrs) to charge my wolf King GT if, and a big IF here, if I keep my chargers cool with a floor fan.
The Kaabo 1.5ah 72v chargers do not come with fans built in (which in my opinion is a bad design choice, possibly to save costs as chargers are $159 already).
Due to no inbuilt fan the Kaabo 1.5ah charger WILL overheat in just over an hour, too the point where it is HOT to the touch.
When they overheat the charger performance severely drops.
I personally wait 1 hour after a ride for the scooter battery to cool back down before charging.
This is to prevent the battery from swelling and getting damaged as they are about $3200 to replace for the LG branded batteries supplied in the WKGT.
I think this should about sum up my review, I hope it is helpful for anyone who has the patience to read it all.”
