Are there any developments we could make? Size chart tends to oversize

“Appears to be great quality, and has plenty of pockets for everything. I feel the cold and wanted something for cold winter days, whilst at the same time offering some rain resistance. Has done the job. Was directed to XL by the size chart, but fortunately want for Large. Even then, there is plenty of room for layering.”

What weather and temperatures did you experience? Minus 3- near gale force winds

Are there any developments we could make? The Hood is extremely bulky - as is the Parka generally - but it does what it says on the tin lol

“Haakon Parka is great Parka - for me it covers walks on the Moors and all outdoor activities- I hoped I could use it generally in the winter for casual wear - but in reality it's too bulky to wear as a fashion garment. I actually was looking at another Parka - can't remember the the name began with Loc or something similar but it disappeared after Christmas It's great product - Will definitely be a repeat Customer - Cheers”

How did you come across Shackleton? Online....but not too sure where.

“Winter in Melbourne Australia can be brutal. The humidity is very high thus Melbourne winters cold is intense and chills you right to the bone. I somehow came across Shackelton. I knew of the name, but not the brand. I might give this a shot. So, I purchased two items: The Haakon Tactical Parka (in Navy) and The Pilot Jacket in Black. (So, this review is covering both items...sort of) As winter is somewhat still upon us, I tried them both and I must say that I was impressed, really impressed! The items were wonderfully cut and fitted perfectly. I ordered large, and it layered or not, kept room to move. Both the Parka and Jacket were wonderfully warm and kept the biting wind at bay. The quality and level of attention to detail is amazing. Also, the Parka, was really well constructed with pockets and little bits that one would find after a day or two of wearing....the pockets were deep and the logo on the side arm really stood out, but still subtle enough that it's didn't scream look at me. Would I buy again, hell yes. Would I recommend, without a moment's hesitation.”
