What activity did you use the product for?
North & South Poles, yearly Arctic expeditions - I’m the founder and head guide of the Polar Academy.
What weather and temperatures did you experience?
Using the Haakon, we consistently had air temperatures of around -30c, with wind chill closer to -50c.
What do you like about the product?
A well thought out parka, great fit - especially for the extra space for base and mid layers. An excellent hood.
Are there any developments we could make?
I’ve added zipper tags on the main zip - in cold weather it was tricky to connect the zipper, having a tag attached means that, even with gloves, it can be zipped up easily. If the Velcro wrist straps were moves a couple of cm’s closer to the end of the s
