“Winter in Melbourne Australia can be brutal. The humidity is very high thus Melbourne winters cold is intense and chills you right to the bone. I somehow came across Shackelton. I knew of the name, but not the brand. I might give this a shot. So, I purchased two items: The Haakon Tactical Parka (in Navy) and The Pilot Jacket in Black. (So, this review is covering both items...sort of) As winter is somewhat still upon us, I tried them both and I must say that I was impressed, really impressed! The items were wonderfully cut and fitted perfectly. I ordered large, and it layered or not, kept room to move. Both the Parka and Jacket were wonderfully warm and kept the biting wind at bay. The quality and level of attention to detail is amazing. Also, the Pilot Jacket, was the more casual of the two items and it could be worn zipped up, or open and layered with a teeshit, hoodie, whatever. Would I buy again, hell yes. Would I recommend, without a moment's hesitation.”

What activity did you use the product for? Daily use. I bought it just as the weather turned warm. I'm now looking forward to winter in a way I never have before.
