“I looked at Arcteryx, Rab, Patagonia, and Moncler to find the perfect puffer / down jacket. The Rothera stood out for its quality feel and superb fit. It is now my go-to for warmth. The double breast pockets perfect for my phone, and the lined hand pockets are luxurious and warm. Great quality both in looks and feel. Excellent execution on a superior jacket!”

How did you come across Shackleton? Web research for British made products.

“Having ventured away from mainstream brands I was delighted to find not only the quality but the fit and design to be 1st class. The materials used seem to be better quality than most top outdoor brands. There’s generous pockets, good zips, lovely thumb cuffs and excellent warmth. Another top marks for also being a British product. Of course it’s expensive but you can visibly see the quality in the manufacturing and design. It’s my go to jacket and I am confident it will stand the test of time.”
