How did you come across Shackleton? Friends and a review

“After wanting a Shackleton jacket for a while, I took the plunge. But I have to say I’m slightly disappointed with the quality. I’ve had numerous walking/rambling jackets from Rab to Mountain equipment/patagonia etc. The orange lining can be seen on the outside of the jacket where the stitching is, and the stitching is not the best with thread ends showing in numerous places. The arms don’t seem to be in keeping with the rest of the jacket, the jacket body is long (I’m a large) whereas the arms are mid wrist(above your watch). Warmth wise can’t fault it, love the pockets(fleeced lined), is it worth £400? I’d have to check other jackets in the range before I’d purchase again.”
