What activity did you use the product for? Hiking all over

What weather and temperatures did you experience? Pretty warm temperate to date

What do you like about the product? The storage system I have a small carabiner inside to hook packed jkt onto my belt. But mainly it just looks great on.

Are there any developments we could make? It’s pretty new so I can’t suggest any.

What activity did you use the product for? Hiking in Cumbria. I’ve also used it with the Haakon parka whilst standing on the tips of the Cumbrian mountains for long periods shooting time lapses.

What weather and temperatures did you experience? Minus 2 to minus 4, but on the tops very windy conditions dripping to minus 16 windchill. Sounds cold but nothing out of the ordinary up there.

What do you like about the product? I like it’s design and versatility as part of the adaptive layering system the most.

How did you come across Shackleton? You come up pretty quick on a search engine.

“Ross Down Gilet is a versatile body warmer. Perfect for slinging on over a jumper and hiking in winter when you are also generating a lot of body heat. It’s best aspect is use as part of the adaptive layering system. I’ve used it with just the Haakon parka, but I’ve also used it with The Rothera down jacket, and it seems to literally double the performance of both. A very handy layer indeed. High quality design and materials as always.”
