Overall this is a great looking jacket that performs well in wind and light rain (have not tested in very wet conditions yet). I have received multiple compliments for the appearance of the jacket, which is a nice plus though obviously not its primary function. I like the wrist closure and hood adjustment. The jacket packs away fairly compactly as well. Price is comparaible to competitors, and the waterproof/windproof raiting of the material is similar. There are a few areas for improvement - the hand pockets are not usable when wearing a harness, which isn't a huge deal but competitor's in this price range tend to have more accessible pockets. The under arm zippers, for ventilation, are lacking zipper pulls like all of the other zippers, which makes them harder to adjust. One of the under-arm zippers on my jacket is a bit stiff as well.
