Are there any developments we could make? I haven't done any knitting personally but my mother was a very good hand knitter so I know a little about pattern, structure and different wool and how it can affect the warmth and fit of the finished garment, it seems to me your design team and the manu
How did you come across Shackleton? I needed a new winter 'wooly' and your website was one that I looked at because of the name.
I am quite traditional when it comes to my outdoor gear, woollens, Ventile, tweeds and merino. The hero sweater is an exceptional garment in many ways, it has a great fit, and good colours(I choose the Ember just for a bit of added flash to my kit which is mainly black in the cooler months). The feel of the wool is soft with no 'neck itch' that you sometimes get with wool roll necks. It isn't cheap but you do get what you pay for, wool is easy to look after with a bit of care and I expect this garment to last for years, it will also look good for its lifetime because of the care taken in the pattering and knitting of the jumper. All around I am very happy with my purchase and will be back for more , thanks.
