“This cap is fantastic. Understated, but structured, I like to keep it glued to my head. The bill folds so it's packable (and put-away-able) in literally any pocket. The infinite-adjust pull with elastic means I can get it to stay on but not feel tight.”

Are there any developments we could make? Make the cap in different sizes to allow for those with larger skulls - the front peak is too narrow for me so pinches the front of my head resulting in almost instantaneous headaches from the pressure.

What activity did you use the product for? Walking / hiking / rambling

What weather and temperatures did you experience? Tail end of Summer including the mini last mini-heatwave. Will be wearing into Autumn and Winter as much as possible.

Are there any developments we could make? Maybe a lighter colour version as perhaps black isn’t the best colour to wear in high Summer ?

How did you come across Shackleton? Have bought other products previously so is a brand I respect and trust,

“I love this hat. I’d been after a new cap for my walks in the Peak District as my previous cap had become decidedly worn after many years of wear. Although not cheap the quality is worth the price. Nice long peak to provide sun shade and deflect light rain. The weave of the material seems to wick perspiration well. Even the Velcro adjustment at the back seems to be of better quality Velcro ( who knew such a thing existed ! ) As with other Shackleton products the little details makes all the difference - the Shackleton star logo in understated black on the front, edging on the seams inside with ‘Shackleton’ embossed on it - lovely. The folding peak which easily allows the cap to be stowed in a pocket, and the cute little storage pouch. Very pleased with this cap.”
