“Pros: The bra does hold you in place.
Cons: I tried 3 sizes and none of them fit me. I’m a very full (natural) 32G, I did their recommended band and bust measurements and their recommended size was a medium.
- The medium gave me uniboob, major spillage from the top and the sides and it chaffed my right breast (and I only wore it to lightly hack one horse on a cold day - typically I ride 2-3 horses per day and I can’t even imagine what it would do in the chaffing department on a hot summer day during a horse show at the sitting trot). The zipper and cup seams were also way too visible underneath my shirt and it was a cotton shirt that was not too tight fitting. The girl in the horse recommendation videos going around must have on the lounge bra, and not the ultimate sports bra because you can’t see any of the cup seams under her super tight tank top.
- Next up, the luxe. This one fit better, but I still had visible spillage over the top and sides. Back it went without a demo at the barn.
- Finally, the 1luxe. This one finally fit me in the bust area, but when I went to tighten the band strap, it was too large for my ribcage and the fabric of the bra started coming through the plastic bracket in the back. I tried it on with a shirt over it just for shits and gigs, and again, the zipper and cup seams were too apparent for my liking. I still had uniboob in this one as well (and yes, I scooped my breasts into place)
All three went back, and since they don’t have free return shipping, I paid approx $20 for the privilege of trying on their bras. I will say they spurred me into researching other sports bras because I was tired of having to pull my boobs back up into my traditional sports bra multiple times while I was riding, and I did find a fabulous one with another brand, so thanks for that! Otherwise, these were sadly a major fail for this big busted and apparently small ribcaged gal.”
“I didn’t LOVE it. Feels more like a straight jacket, BUT it did give me more support than the ones I’ve tried. I’m trying to get used to it and I think that the hooks did help in getting it zipped. I think the Jersey bra may be more comfortable.”
