“Shelter Fitness, Allow me to give a more extensive review. I am 82 years old, and have been using loop style bands now for three years, and have found them to be outstanding. I get better results more quickly than with the weight machines at the gym, and they are portable. I have used bands from three different companies: Undersun Fitness, Titan and now Shelter Fitness. The published resistance levels at Undersun and Titan are very similar, while Shelter is about 25% harder with the same stated resistance. For example, 100 pounds at Shelter is like 125 at the others. Since all of the bands are about the same thickness and made of similar materials, it's the same width that renders the bands similar in resistance, not the stated number. Titan and Shelter are alike in that they both have bands that are color coded (Undersun bands are all one color) . Undersun and Titan are similar in that they both have the resistance range printed on the bands along with the company name. For those two, the resistance ranges are also published on their website, whereas Shelter only quotes the maximum resistance number. “These bands are high quality I’m using them with the X3 Bar Gym and they work great. The package includes 2 each of red, black, purple and green bands. Well worth the money.”
