“This is a replacement for the original brown winter cover we bought from Sojag/Shelter Logic, which had shrunk slightly over time, and made installing over the corners more difficult every year. This year we decided to get a new one. This one has improvements over the original, with ties & corner grommets to allow the cover to be fastened to each corner post at multiple heights, making movements in high winds impossible. We always apply wooden boards along & over the ground flaps, and hold them down with 5" patio stone blocks, to keep the snow completely out. The new cover went over the gazebo in a matter of a few minutes, with help from a string attached at a middle grommet on the bottom, pulling it over the peak, since the whole frame is impossible to reach over because of its size. The increased number of grommets makes the job easy and effective, so we don't tear the cover during installation either. The ground flaps also seem a little bit wider than before, making the hold-down process even easier to straighten them out. Thank you Shelter Logic!”

“The color and material were fine, but the cover was extremely hard to get over the gazebo. It is one piece. The real issue came when the weather was blustery. We assembled the ties as indicated, but the material ripped off of all 4 poles. I will be placing a warranty claim as this cover was only used for two weeks from purchase. Very disappointed as we worked hard to prepare for the winter weather.”

“It would be an awesome product if you could get 5 years out of it and you could if the sides zipped on and the corner points were heavily reinforced. Real shame they don’t have good engineers. The way it is made now you are lucky if you get 2 years out of it. Very disappointing for the cost.”

If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. “I bought 12x16 cover fall of 2022 to use during winter. All I can say it is NOT very well made. Multiple tears and it has only been been on my gazebo for 5 months. I would not recommend this product. For the price it should be better made.”
“Holding up good so far for the first winter. Instructions should show how someone may attempt to place cover over the gazebo. No way this can be done with one person let alone two. There has been a couple of minor tears while putting it on, but it's still in good condition.”
“I bought the 12'x16' heavy duty winter cover to go over the pergola that surrounds our hot tub for snow protection and I am not impressed. Fitment is great and accessibility to the hot tub is perfect but being waterproof? Far from. Leaks during rain storms, melting snow and I can see daylight through this thing from the inside. Definitely not what I'd hoped for.”
