The more animals we get the more shelter we need. My Miniture cows and donkeys love to stay under it to keep out of the hot sun and rain. It’s nice for napping.

“We have 3 of these, one is in pieces and currently unused due to rams being ... rams. The covers in the others lasted about 4 years before they were in shred which isn't bad with bouncy lambs. I do wish, like other reviewers that Shelterlogic sold tye replacement covers at less than almost the cost of a new shelter. Tip for anyone buying, use Loctite during assembly to prevent things from coming apart with hard use.”

“I have purchased 2 of these for sheep. One was taken out by Hurricane Helene last fall, the other has been in use about 18 months now and the cover is beyond repair (large tear from front to back). I was excited to see a tag on the cover with a reorder part #; however when inquired the price of the replacement cover was as much as a new unit. I suppose I will need to engineer my own makeshift cover using a regular tarp, not sure how well that will go.
The other shelters sold by this company seem to have more logical pricing where the replacement covers are much less than a complete new unit. When I questioned the sales associate, he stated that he has run this up the flag pole before regarding this particular unit, and they have not changed anything.
I would like to purchase more of these; however the inability to purchase replacement covers (at a reasonable price) is what holds me back and why I only gave it three stars.
Hopefully someone at the decisioning level reads this and can look into why this is. It isn't that they aren't available, but why the same price as a new one?”

“The tarp already has a bit of wear on one side and we just put it up maybe a month ago. But otherwise, it’s holding up and staying in place. Overall we’ve been pretty happy with our ShelterLogic products.”

“I had purchased the horse corral and loved it. I decided since I loved it the small animal would be great for my goats. My recommendation for goats with horns is no. I contacted them after my goats ripped the cover with their horns to purchase replacement covers and was told they don’t sell them separately that I had to buy all new sheds. I decided not to purchase another for them to just destroy and went to harbor freight and bought heavy duty tarps. I have to give my horse shelter 5 stars but not the small animal one for horned animals that is.”

“As a small farm with sheep and watch donkeys, we have four shelters of this size and one large one attached to a corral for our donkeys when in a pasture that does not have a shed. They are by far, given the cost of materials, far less expensive than building sheds, and if necessary, we can move these to other pastures as we continue to build our flock; we have at least one more of these to purchase; we also plan to purchase the shelter that fits on corral panels for our donkeys for another pasture. Customer support has been fantastic.”

“Having purchased 4 ShelterLogic products (including two of these shelters) for our small farm in the past three years, i am a big fan of SL products. This said, a small design change to this product would take its utility to a whole new level of utility. Moving the shelter from one pasture or paddock to the next can not readily be done by one person given the current design, at least not without weakening the framing. By adding lightweight "walker" wheels to one end, one peerson can easily move the shelter easily anywhere. See video. Had tried to send suggested adaptation along with one slight change needed in framing to your engineers but was advised that your engineers do not take calls. Would still love to assist in what is a simple but invaluable adaptation of a great product.”
