“I bought this product used in the summer of 2016. when I bought it, I owned a Honda Civic that did fit in in very well. In October of 2016 I bought a 2007 Ford Fusion. As you can see in the pictures and actually on the box it comes in, It shows a first gen Ford Fusion in the Shelter. This is false advertising! The ford Fusion Does not fit in the shelter. The shelter is also not wide enough to open both sides of the cars doors. I have to park with the passenger side only about 1 foot from the side so I have room to open my drivers door with ease. The shelter bulges in the back wall as I park the car in and when I close the front door on the shelter, the car can be seen bulging out of the front of the shelter. Simply put, Before buying this product, measure your vehicle bumper to bumper and mirror to mirror.
Also, It has very well the past year in all the very heavy damaging winds in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Also did very well this past winter. On Sept. 4th, 2017, I noticed some new tears in the cover just above the corner/ center posts going front to back. I put some Tuck Tape over them and hope it helps hold the material together. I may have to purchase a new shelter this winter season if the cover fails. I will not purchase A new cover, I will however upgrade the size from 15 feet to 20 feet to better hold my car.When that cover fails in a few years, I will likely purchase the 14oz cover made for harsh Canadian winters.

“I listen to these people that write a review and say their shelter didn't stand up to the weather or didn't last long. For the winter months I put ten foot 1x4 stapping between the cross members so it would give extra support for the snow loads. Also I made a special wide broom to make sure I took the snow loads off each time it snowed. These people have got to use some common sense if you get a foot of snow and it rains, no shelter like this is going to take the weight. I have had my shelter for four or five years now and I'm in northern Canada where we know about snow loads. This shelter has even had a tree fall on it and I ordered more support tubes and it's still going. It has a few tears in the material but it's still holding.”

“I bought one of these in the spring, by the end of year the cover had tore. So they sent me a new one under warranty, well almost a whole cover the ends were missing from the replacement. Less than year later that one tore, but they won't warranty the replacement. So now I need to buy a cover only 2 years in... Bottom line is, this model is very very cheap... I live Ga so just sun and light wind no snow... Save your money and buy wood building or at least not this cheap that you're gonna replace the cover every year...”

“I bought this when Harbor Freight was a Shelter logic dealer, unfortunately Harbor Freight no longer a shelter logic dealer and HF new replacement brand from China I assume is complete trash compared to Shelter logic brand, Shelterlogic brand overall better than HF has to offer now, Shelter logic zippers last much longer than the Harbor Freight brand, but I have to say I wish the Shelterlogic tarp material would last at least two or more years not the usual 1 to 1.5 years, I'm on my 3rd replacement cover in 5.5 years of ownership, and please dont respond saying life depends on the weather and environment, yes that's true to a point but I live in EXTREMELY MILD CLIMATE IN CALIFORNIA, no snow, average temperature all year is 62 degrees, and we have little rain and no snow, only issue is some wind now and then, its not the wind that destroys the fabric its the UV from the sun (as usual) IF YOU WOULD HAVE A MORE UV PROTECTED MATERIAL WE MAYBE ON TO SOMETHING. material suffers UV breakdown and rips at pressure points where tarp meets framework at corners/bends.”
“My wife and I bought 2 of these a little less than a year ago. It took us all day to put it together. The directions have you put the structure together to find out you have to take it apart again to put the canopy on. The only reason we bought two is because we loved the one we bought before that was all put together with mostly bungees. Now all the seams are coming apart since their heat welded and the tarps is already tearing on the top. Since it was so hard to put together we did not build the second one and now that we see that the other one is falling a part we have no plans to do so”
