“We got this shed 2 years ago .I waited to right this review to see how it would survive up here .We ordered the PVC cover because no matter what any MFR will tell you , the poly shed covers only last if they are away from direct sunlight .Since our property was once a horse pasture , shade is in short supply .I have had poly shed covers destroyed in less than a year .In order to make this shed survive , it sits on a platform of pressure treated 2x4's on 12" centres with a deck of 3/4" pressure treated plywood .Strong enough to support cars and light duty trucks .Allows lag srewing of the frame directly to the plywood .At each end ,we built a2x2 framework covered with osb sheeting to support the structure from side loads .Again from experience these structures will not stand up to the wind without extra bacing .The lengthwise bracing supplied with the shed seems to be very strong .With our 32' length , there is a cross brace at each end .Instructions need to be better , we had the whole frame built and had a pile of tubes left over that were not mentioned in the directions .Turned out to be the upper cross braces .To fit them , everything had to come down .Also , the PVC cover does not slide very well on the frame .We could not budge it at one point , so we sprayed the pipes with water and that got it to slide finally .I reccomend dish soap on the sloped peak pipes to get the cover up easier and to help centre it properly . Shed is now going through its second winter and has survived 100 KM winds .The PVC cover still looks like new . If you want one of these sheds , buy it with the PVC cover and sit it on a wood or concrete platform .”
