“Parts boxes were mixed with different models so I had extra pieces of some supports and missing others. Despite "instructions included" labels on almost every box no instructions were in any box.”

“We bought this shelter as occasional storage for our Japanese Mini-Truck. We used heavy pallets for a flooring base and topped with spruce decking boards. The total weight of the flooring is about 850lbs. We then secured the frame to the floor. We had to use this method because our ground is just not suitable for the auger spikes. We did cut off the auger portion and hammered the spike through the base holes for lateral support and to keep the frame in place after squaring up the frame.
The shelter itself is well built and the system is well thought-out. It's obvious that ShelterLogic has been in the business of shelters for a while. Everything fit as it should, the ratchets are heavy-duty and the standard PE 9oz material seems durable. Time and Newfoundland weather will be the real test. About 90% of the assembly I did myself with basic tools and a step ladder. It is doable solo but two people would make the process go better.
There are only two suggestions that I would offer to make it better for me. One, have the zippers protected by flaps. I know it adds to the thickness and bulkiness of the roll-up doors but I think it would offer more protection as I see rain and freezing "may" cause issues. Two, the eight-foot wide unit narrows more at the top than I expected. I had hoped the sides were more vertical so I would have closer to eight feet wide in the upper portion of the unit.
Again, time will tell, but I am, at this point, very happy with our shelter. Thanks”
