“The new replacement cover fit okay, but I still have yet to see how this will hold up. PVC material that this is made of has a 10-year warranty. Upon receiving this, I already noticed some "pin holes" where the fabric was folded. I could see daylight through these small holes. If this does not hold up for it's expectancy or tears during the winter, I will be sending it back. I like the alternatives that Shelter Logic provides. A lot less expensive than building a garage for your car. I'm just hoping I stay satisfied with my replacement product.”

“I have replaced the standard POLY cover several times on my frame and it lasts about 3 years. This time I went for the Vinyl cover. Time will tell if it lasts longer, but it is very heavy duty and well made. It pulls nice and tight and is silent in the wind, unlike the poly type. The poly type gets brittle and fragile in the cold winter air and you must take care when removing snow: it will tear easily.... I think the vinyl will not be a problem in the cold. So far, in the -15c weather it remains pliable and flexible.”

“The original cover on my garage in a box lasted exactly one year and a month before it disintegrated. While installing the new cover I noticed the frame had bent evidently from the weight of the original cover and the weather it encountered here in Texas. Most of the fasteners had loosened up as well, it must have been from flexing in the thin gauge tubing. After owning a garage in a box I would not recommend one.”

Our standard covers include a one year warranty and if you are within that time period and something goes wrong we suggest filing a warranty claim and having it reviewed by a representative in the corresponding department.
