“We bought a pair for my mother in laws place and now have added another for our house as well as a 4'. I contemplated a welded wood rack but time was critical as we had to move the old wood pile and my efforts were spread thin over many projects. Shelter logic was supposed to be a quick fix to my time constraints but now that we have them they will be permanent. My only issue is the cover at my mother in laws which is on the lake and gets windy at times. We have had the cover blow off enough times we no longer use it at that location. I am sure a log at each end on top or if some loops for cord /bungie's would fix.”
Hi Steve,
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review! We’re thrilled to hear that you’ve added more of our Ultra Duty Firewood Racks to both your mother-in-law's place and your own. It’s fantastic to know that they are a permanent solution for your wood storage needs.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the cover, especially in windy conditions. Your suggestion of adding a log or some loops for cord or bungee sounds like a smart fix! If you ever have any more ideas or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warm regards,

“It is a sturdy log rack, the sturdiest I’ve ever bought, but it is set lower to the ground than I like. I like to keep air moving underneath the rack and I put the racks on top of half cinderblocks turned on their side, so it doesn’t tip over and ii is a little less likely for critters to nest in it.
It’s narrower between the horizontal bars, I guess to handle shorter cut wood. I don’t usually have this problem.
I usually just put the wider pieces on the bottom row or two and stack from there, and put the shorter or hard to stack pieces towards the top of the rack. They were on sale so I tried two of them, not sure they are worth the regular higher price versus the heavy duty racks. I suspect it will last a long time as the metal is a heavier gauge.”
