“The rack over (8' long) is great. Keeps firewood dry throughout the year. The only problem we had relates to the support for the rack cover. We used the Firewood Rack Bracket kit, with 4 vertical posts, one at each corner, supporting the cover. That is all the support the cover has. If the rack is not full of wood and it rains a lot, the rain catches in the top and its weight makes the over sag in the middle causing tearing. We inserted cross supports so the cover would be supported along the sides with cross pieces in the middle, which solves the problem. But the cover is exactly what we needed and it works well. We had it for a few years, and replacing it was not a problem at $25..”
“I agree with the reviewer named Marshal, needs tie downs which I put on and UV rots it after two or three seasons depending on what latitude you're at. But for $25 I don't mind replacing it every couple of years. A good value. Zippers are well placed and work well.”

“Am excited to have a full cover for firewood. Last cover just sat on top 1/4 of wood, often blew off and as time went by, the Velcro strips stopped working. Like the zippers that allow getting wood without removing the cover. Time will tell how it stands up to weather.”
“I have used Shelter Logic log rack covers for three years now and am very pleased, but there are two things that a person should know about them. First, the wind will take them off and blow them away I use this fix: (Maybe the company will read this and start doing it for us.) I put a grommet in each end of the cover, at the bottom and in the middle of the end. I use a cable tie or zip tie to connect the cover to the bottom end brace of the log rack. Works great. Just snip them off when you want to remove the cover. The second thing about them is that they cannot take the summer sun. Get them off in the Spring or when the snow stops. The UV rays will rot them in one season.”
