“This is now my second set of replacement covers for the building that I have they only last about two years before the weather rips them and tears of shreds. However, it’s not worth almost $1000 for the one that supposedly rated or longer. It would just be better if they would make a thicker material and not have to charge an arm in a leg for it.”

If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs. “This works great for covering our boat without building additional costly garage storage. We have had one over the past 15 years. Works great and depending on your winters, exposure to sun, etc. we found that it lasts around 5 years.”

“We purchased a replacement cover for our shed that we've had for seven years. The old one was beginning to see some serious wear. We purchased a replacement and had to have it shipped to a relatives address in the lower 48 because shipping to Alaska is EXPENSIVE! We travelled down and brought it back in a suitcase (checked baggage). We now have a "new shed". We just threw the new repalcement cover over the old, giving it extra strength for the snow load. We will still bring the snow off after every snow this winter.”

“The only reason for the 3 star review is because the part number for replacement cover for a year old garage-in-a-box is not available! So another part number is sent and it's basically a foot larger on both height and width. While I did get the unit swapped over to the new, the fit is not as tight and tidy. Rather disappointing . Front door no longer has the elastic strap to roll up and hold the door. That was handy.
So here is to another year before this cover falls apart.
These tarp covers are not cheap and the " mid grade " yet alone the top of the line covers are way more expensive!! Frustrating they don't last long but they are nice when they are new”
