“First replacement cover lasted 7 years started flaking the white coating at 6 years and finally started tearing at 7. On my third cover as long as this one lasts 7 years it’s worth the investment to keep my boat out of the snow.”

“The cover fits well and looks good, the downside is I know it will only last a maximum of 1.5-2 years. This is the second cover I have put on and in between I had to use heavy duty tarps instead. If the shelter logic heavy or ultra duty covers were more affordable the overall quality of the product would be significantly better. $1000 - $1500 for a cover that lasts more than 2 years is a lot to swallow.”

Thank you for your feedback. Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow, it can also affect longevity.
As you're already aware, we do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs. Please note that the price has increased over the last couple of years due to inflation.
