ShelterCoat Custom Peak Shelter, 16 ft. x 36 ft. x 16 ft. Ultra Duty PVC 21.5 oz. White Reviews

It arrived as expected, in the timeframe they gave me. It took 2 of us approximately 3 days to assemble the structure and put the front and back up. The top took 3 of us to put up, and took most of a day to do. We managed it OK, but would have been better with 5 of us. The instructions emailed to me, at my request, were significantly different than the instructions I found under the top tarp, after we had already assembled the structure. The instructions that were emailed were much easier to read and understand than the ones that came in the box. As others have mentioned, quality control seems to be of some concern, when it comes to hole locations. It would have taken significantly less time to assemble had all the holes lined up in the first place. DO NOT try to hang the end tarps up on a breezy day! If you do, you will understand what makes sailboats move! Also, make sure the frame is secured to the ground before putting up the ends! We had ours secured and the wind was still trying to move the structure! Nevertheless, we finished it up yesterday, and it looks pretty decent so far. Time will tell! I did get the Ultra Duty cover, as I wanted to make sure it holds up better than a standard big box store tarp. It is definitely heavier-duty, and pretty tough. Not quite as heavy-duty or tough as a semi-trailer tarp, but pretty decent. Please be aware that this tarp is HEAVY! The box it came in was a solid 300 lbs.! 2 of us could not lift the main tarp! We had to use the box it came in as a sled to position it where we needed it before unrolling it. They prepacked the tarp well, as it was already setup to hoist. All we had to do was make sure it was oriented correctly, unroll it, place the bars and ropes, and hoist away! Do not unfurl the tarp, as it will make it more difficult to hoist! Also, I did secure the legs to pressure-treated lumber, to help make the structure more stable, but it was probably not necessary, other than to keep the legs out of the dirt. The structure by itself seems pretty stable. Again, time will tell!
