“Any builder knows that metal roofing is designed to be installed with the ridges running up and down the roof. It is beyond me how Arrow designers think it is a good idea to have them installed with the ridges horizontal inviting pools of water to form in the valleys including where the joints are. Yes, some butyl tape was included to apply to the joints, but especially at the points where 4 panels meet, this becomes a precision exercise doomed to fail with wear even if executed to perfection. Metal roofing is an excellent product when installed correctly. When laid the wrong way, leaks are guaranteed. I am very upset with this purchase overall, which is unfortunate, because the frame is of good quality and the roof easily could have been also.”
