“I recently received my 20 x 24 Carport canopy that came in many boxes.
I was a bit worried about being able to put it together, however after opening up the boxes and looking over the manual, my anxiety level dropped a few octaves.
My wife and I were able to square the supplied base fittings first and then anchor the base itself to the concrete. Once we got that done with that the steel came together like a giant Mechano set with very little difficulty. The two of us were then able to build each section lift it up to the base and set it in place. I was quite impressed with the thickness and quality of the painted steel, the SS self-tapping screws made it very easy. You do need two tall ladders to set the roof sheeting up and that went fairly smoothly with the wife hitting with the sheets now and then but no major hassle. The building is all up and looks great to a sigh of relief from both of us with a little elbow grease and some ingenuity (use of wood clamps) we kept the sides all square and our cars are now parked. We want to buy some additional egg white roofing to complete the sides of the building as it will help add shade.

“A very sturdy frame, although I found that I needed to install boards at the top of the rafter to aid the installation of the roofing. The extension kit unfortunately was shipped with a different colour of roofing, which doesn't match the bulk of the roof. A creative pattern made this acceptable versus the delay of waiting for a replacement. Customer service on the phone is great. As I am in Canada, it was important to specify a detailed tax breakdown on the invoice for bookkeeping. I would certainly recommend ShelterLogic to anyone looking for a strong and quick-to-assemble shelter.”
