“Well made do need better screws like fasten all tech screws I ran them up with the drill then finished with a ratchet to keep from stripping you can put it up by yourself just takes longer”

“I needed a shelter that was 20' wide x 12' deep.
When I saw this "Build Your Own OIption", I was excited.
What I received was a standard 12' wide x 20' deep.
I needed the supports to no be in the way of the Kennel I was covering.
I am dissapointed. By the time my husband started putting it together, we felt it was too late to even attempt to return this very standard structure, not the custom structure we needed.”

“Own a car wash and do detailing. Been using Shelterlogic for 16 years. We have two 10x20 car ports and a massive 16x26x9 Sheltertech. I wanted something heavy duty to extend out detailing but didn’t want to worry about it getting damaged or have to replace the tarps. The unit was delivered with free shipping and came nicely laid out. Parts are powder coated and the metal roof is thin but not too thin. Putting it together was a snap. I suggest reading over the directions the evening before. Two people is a must. The bottom pole has small holes where you could use anchors. I believe 3/8 was the size we went with. They also include their own anchors but I preferred the sleeves from Home Depot or Lowe’s. The most important thing is making sure that first roof panel is perfectly centered. Once you get that, the rest is easy. A tip is to leave the last screw out so when you put the other panel underneath it will lift easily. Once that panel is secure you can then screw it it… each piece will get fed underneath for the rain. That’s why you leave the last screw out… I love this unit and ended up buying another one for the back of my car wash.”

“I bought it not knowing that it did not meet Florida's wind mph rating!!! Your product is only rated at 100mph Florida must be 150mph. I bought it and the state won't allow me to build it and install it!! Now it sits in my shed. i WANTED TO RETURN IT but 15% restocking plus return freight. I would have lost over $1000.00.

We are sorry to hear about this! Yes, in the State of Florida, a permit is required to install a shed or Carport due to hurricane season and code standards. To meet Florida building codes, you will need to obtain an engineering drawing and meet the Wind-load rating. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide engineering specifications drawings for this Carport. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that every county across the nation has different regulations, and due to this variance, we recommend visiting your Town Hall and requesting a copy of their guidelines before making any purchases.
