“We were initially hesitant to purchase an "open box" version of the Gazebo, but we ended up really liking it, and it was perfect for our needs. Took the risk and was pleasantly surprised. If they didn't say it was an open box, I probably wouldn't have noticed. Both boxes were packed very well, just like a new product; each items were accounted for in good condition. We noticed a few minor bends and a slight scuff on a part, but it didn't bother us since it's not visible and doesn't affect the structure.
Overall, this is a solid product. We have it hooked into our wooden back deck (Using Structural screws into the deck joist), and it is barely moving, even after watching a few high-wind hit it. I'm confident this will last many years.
The only thing I can say that was misleading is the build time. Maybe we were perfectionists, but the 6h~ timeframe was easily tripled. It took a couple of full days between the two of us. Maybe getting a third helping hand would have made it a bit quicker.
