“I chose this shed because it was made in America by a long lasting company. I did purchase this shed on Amazon but since there aren't too many reviews I would like to add one here.
I chose metal for the cheaper price than plastic or wood, and hopefully durability over a wood shed. But if I were to go back in time I would build a wood shed. There were not too many comments on this shed before I bought it so I will do my best to help others.
PROS: the best part of the instructions was the size of the base/platform. I wish the website/advertisements had the precise plan that the instructions do. The rest of the instructions, not too great.
Looks good when done.
The thing frame and walls give more space inside.
The doors open nice but I had trouble with the little ramp so I took it off.
CONS: The instructions need more words, sometimes the pictures don't really show what it means.
It was not an easy built and I am above average for handyman type repairs. I did a lot by myself but you need two or three people for some things and it will go faster. I got the majority done in 2 days then some small stuff and the doors on the third day.
Like other comments, the holes are hard to line up the further you go in the build. I assume you have to be super perfect to get them all to match and that is not likely for the average person. However, you can easily drill the screws into the metal and it is fine.
The roof instructions are not the best, you finish by having to reach out to the center of the peak to put the cap on. I built a stabilizing post to go under the beam to give me some confidence it won't collapse. I saw a video for the Elite version of this and it is a different sequence that makes more sense.
The material dents SUPER easy and scratches easy too. So if you are very picky/particular this shed is not for you unless you have a magic touch handling everything and no kids that can kid stuff at it.
The door handles are super sharp for some reason! I recommend sanding/filing it down so you don't cut yourself.”
