“I wanted a garage to park my SUV in over the winter that wouldn't fold up when we got large snowfalls or occasional wind, so I went with the shelter tube system. In order to get the dimensions I wanted, I had to go for a 16 foot height, which was far in excess of what I required. I ended up leaving out an entire 5 foot section from each upright in order to keep the structure at a manageable size. However I've got way too much tarp left over and the doors needed to be shortened/rolled up and fastened at the correct length. The instructions could be better, but they're adequate. The included door opening kit isn't the greatest but it does the job.
Had a massive wind-storm overnight (gusts over 100kph/60mph) and the steltertube structure took it like a champ.
Ultimately I wish ShelterLogic offered more flexibility in dimensions/height offerings, but it is what it is.”

“The instructions were not easy to understand, many things were not even in the instructions. We had to watch you tube videos to really understand how to put it together. The shelter is great once it’s together. The bars are very strong, the tarp is very thick and well built. They include long , sturdy anchors to keep it from blowing away. I would recommend these but I’d also tell someone to watch the videos before you even start!”
