“During the extreme cold weather and larger than normal amount of snow in the 2025 – 2026 Winter, my Fuel Oil tank almost ran out of Fuel due to the amount of time my furnace had to run to heat my home and the multiple snow storms causing problems for the delivery of fuel oil. I use Shipley Energy for the fuel oil and furnace service. Their effort to deliver Fuel Oil was above and beyond. I appreciate what the staff and the driver did to insure that I got the fuel oil I needed. I highly recommend Shipley Energy.”

This time, I received an electronic robocall voicemail message the same morning as the delivery. As a result, I was not able to be helpful in clearing snow from gates, etc. Raymond seemed upset. I went outside to apologize and to talk with him about it. He wanted nothing to do with the conversation. Or maybe he was just having a bad moment. I wanted to make it better somehow. Perhaps internally, you can apologize to Raymond for not giving me enough notice to clear snow for him. His job is tough enough, and my property is challenging as well. I am willing to do what I can to make it a little easier.

“We are very grateful that your delivery driver, Darren, delivered oil yesterday. On Monday, I received a voicemail from Shipley saying that delivery of our oil couldn't be completed on Friday due to the snow in our yard and not being able to see where the fill was. On Tuesday morning, my husband started digging a path to the fill from our sidewalk that leads to the front door. He is 79 and digging a path directly from the street thru the entire yard would be too much for him. While I was calling Shipley to explain that a path was made from the sidewalk & how to approach the fill from the sidewalk, I heard the delivery truck outside. What a fantastic coincidence! And Darren trudged thru all the snow from the street to the fill - cannot thank him enough!!”
