“This item was an expensive and near useless purchase. It has 3 vibration modes but not of the intensity to have much therapeutic value. The heat portion is average. The motor is loud and rumbles and rattles during the time it is on, especially at the feet. It gets louder at the higher mode and is not relaxing. There is not an option to return it. I will be more careful from here on out when looking at this sort of equipment on the internet. I really can�t think of anything beneficial about it.”

I was a little worried that he would be disappointed since it wasn't the coveted designer chair, however, once I explained that he could use it in different places like his bed, the couch in the living room, or the recliner in the TV room he was completely sold.We initially set it up on a bed and he climbed in waiting to see how it worked. The attached remote control has numerous settings and allows for a wide variety of targeted options to satisfy individual preferences - he had this mastered in seconds. The look on his face once it was switched on was priceless - it was absolute euphoria. His eyes actually rolled back as he let out a deep sigh and said: "oh, yeah this really helps me unwind". I actually had to turn away to conceal my laughter as I watched this little boy morph into an old man!Soon, a line started forming as everyone took a turn with all the adults unanimously agreeing that they were wrong in their earlier mockery of his obsession with the massage chair. Three of those present have gone on to purchase a Snailax massage mat of their own; two of them struggle with pain management issues resulting from both an auto accident and a sports injury. They both strongly agreed that it did provide them with some relief from stiffness and difficulty getting comfortable in bed when trying to fall asleep. Of note, no matter which program you select, the mat automatically shuts down after 30 minutes. After a brief email exchange with the Snailax Customer Service Representative, my Nephew was all set and he proudly carried his new treasure to the car in its suitcase-like presentation box.It is now a fixture on my sister's living room sofa and receives daily use as my nephew insists it is the perfect spot for him to quickly relax and recuperate after walking in the front door following a grueling day spent in first grade.Hands down the best money I have EVER spent on a gift, period!”
“Great item. Really does a great job. Many modes to work on your body. My fav is mode 2 which alternatively goes between all of the massage areas. Heat mode is independent which is a plus. Also much quieter than I thought it would be. A great price for such a wonderful massage pad.UPDATE: So, pleasant surprise delivery today. After submitting a screenshot of my review of the Snailax Massage Pad (I use it practically every day) I totally forgot that I could receive a free Snailax Massage Pillow. And do wonders never cease?
