“Bought two for my wife and I to use for long distance trips in our SUV, where our tail bones would get sore. We just returned from a 1000 mile trip. “I have purchased 2 of these for my elderly mother, who has a severe case of restless leg. The first one I put in her leather chair and the second on a wooden dining room chair. It works equally well on both surfaces. I have sat down in the chair a couple of times and I'm always surprised at how nice it feels. The material reminds me of the foam bed toppers that you can buy to make your mattress softer. My six year old loves to open the zipper and squeeze the foam because it's a nice sensation. “We purchased for my 93 yr old mother who suffers terribly from tailbone pain. She was on painkillers and prescription ointments several times a day. Her doc suggested getting some kind of seat pad especially now that she was sitting a lot more than she use to, even using a wheelchair when going outside the house. We tried drugstore and home goods store versions without success. This pad has saved the day!!!
