I tried to put it in the car, and it pushed my back so far out from the seat back, that the car seat was no longer comfortable. Granted, my posterior is rather large, (size 16), and I'm 5'-9", so it might work with a smaller person. I also tried it on my office chair, and it was the same story...it's now stuck in my closet somewhere. I think they could have a much better result if the thickness was cut in half...”
