The cushion seemed okay at first. It passed the eye test as it just looked like a cheaper alternative to the everlasting comfort cushions but I now realize that it's much cheaper because it's much thinnerI don't know if it's actually thinner when fully fluffed up and expanded or if the cushion is just softer and compresses quicker but either way if you're a big guy (or gal) like me who weighs over 300 lbs (and I'm barely over that mark) you're not going to get much out of this as your butt is just going to flatten it out the second you sit down.I know skinny people need pain relief too so this is probably perfect in that situation so I'm going to leave it at around 3* - just know that this is not a “one-size-fits-all' type of product. If you're a large person you will want to buy a better/bigger cushion.Edit: after reading other reviews I've realized this is not just an isolated incident for a big fella like me, apparently these cushions are very thin dropped to 1* save your money and buy elsewhere.

I like the concept of this, but it doesn't work for me. The quality it high, but the padding is too stiff (although it does get "softer" once your body heat warms it up. Personally, the shape of this cushion does not fit me well. It seems intrusive on the back of my bum...kind of like it's in the way. I think this product could work for others, it just doesn't sit on my bum well. I will not be using it.

On a recent 10-hour flight from the west coast to Europe, I found the coccyx pillow to be transformative. I struggle with tailbone soreness about 3-hours into any flight, and this pillow completely eliminated that. I coupled it with a "foot hammock" clipped to the tray table, and I was very cozy and able to even get some sleep in coach on the overnight flight. The only downside is that it takes up a significant portion of my carry-on bag, but still worth taking along.

This is one of the best items I have purchased on TRAKK. I sit at a desk most of the day, so I bought this for comfort and it helps relieve pressure from sitting on a chair all day.

**Update: I bought this product on March 15, 2016; I wanted to update my post because I'm about to buy a second one to keep at home (the other is at work). Thank you for making such a quality product which has increased my daily mood because I'm not always struggling with a cyst on my tailbone.**This is a life saver. No exaggeration. I have a recurring cyst on my tailbone, which is the absolute worse ever. My doctor told me that I had to avoid putting pressure on my tail bone if I want to prevent them from developing. I invested in this cushion for use in my at-home office and for long car trips. The first couple times using it, it left my thighs sore, likely due to sitting in a new way. Now that my body has gotten used to it, it's amazing. I wish I had bought this a long time ago as I have been dealing with the cyst for a few years now. The cushion is very wide so you don't feel like you're falling off of it. The cover comes off easily, I washed it in the machine and dryer with no discoloration or shrinking.

Nice cushion. Very comfortable. Quick service. Note: I suggest you take the cushion inside your home after use if you are using it in a vehicle and the temperature is about 55 degrees or below. It's hard a rock until your body heat goes to work unlocking the "memory" feature. That can take a long time if it is "really chilly" outside. This is common for any of these types of cushions, however, so it's not a defect by any means. I'm completely satisfied.

My job requires a great deal of computer work. After semi-reclining with my laptop often, not only did I have pain in my sacral area, but I also had an infected bedsore! This cushion relieves the pressure perfectly. I have one for home, one for the office, and one for travel/long trips in the car. The handle makes it easy to carry. I recommend this highly.

This did not work for me. I have bruising and inflammation from childbirth on my tailbone. I can't sit down hardly.. and this didn't help. It was a great cushion for my grandmother to drive my truck. I think if you really have problems (not from prolong sitting) it may not work. But it may work for prolong sitting?
