“I bought this to treat tennis elbow, even though I haven't played tennis in ages. It's more like Hammer Elbow, but if I say that I get that song stuck in my head and feel the urge to dig out my genie pants from the the 90's bin in the attic. Stop. Hammer Elbow.Anyway, the cuff fits true to size and has a nice heft to it. My two problems with it are that a.) it starts out very cold, and not localized -- so my entire bicep and part of my forearm get almost painfully cold, including that part where the 'ol median cubital vein runs under, so really your whole body starts to cool down tutte-suite. So maybe it's good for that. Secondly, and somewhat conversely (forget the Hammer Pants, I wonder if I can still pull off my old look of wearing red low-top Chuck Taylor's with no socks -- more on that later), you only get about 15 minutes of cooling out of this before you need to send it back to the freezer. So it's not ideal in that respect. I plan on keeping it. When my 'tennis' elbow stops being too legit to quit, maybe I'll use it as a specialized pork loin cooling apparatus and add it to my picnic arsenal (this statement has not been evaluated by the FDA).”

“This product smells overwhelmingly of ammonia. Absolutely horrible!!!!! Additionally the sizing is not great for small women. I am 115 lbs with an atheltic build and the small is too big for my elbow. The circumference 2 inches above my elbow is a little over 9 inches and according to the chart for my weight and circumference, this should fit. They really need an XS! It barely stays in place and with a few uses, I am sure it will start falling down. Overall design and feel is nice. It stays cold for about 15 min.Update: I contacted the company directly that manufactures Product and was told they should not smell this way. The recommendation was to try cleaning with a soft damp cloth. Lol. Which would've solved nothing. I returned this product to Amazon. I ordered a new one in a different color directly from the company. It arrived and it had no scent. This solved the terrible smell issue, but the sizing issue remained. It will slide down my arm And offers no compression.”
