“So, first thing, make sure you get the right size if you're wanting to use them comfortably for arms. The smaller sizes are good for arms, while the larger sizes will slide off your arms if being used for elbow icing/heating. The med/large sizes are probably better for legs, though I have not yet used them that way. These are great for heating-- just microwave for 90-120 seconds and they're quite warm. Good for warming up muscles before stretching, or as part of recovery therapy. They're ok for icing, although I find they don't really numb the area much before your body heat warms them up.”
“My husband uses this product for his knee and one day, decided to use it for his hands. He suffers from carpal tunnel and he placed his hands into this product and it provided relief for 15 minutes. I use it on my upper arm where I tore my labrum. So far we have only used it as a cold pack.”
“This product is easy to use and comfortable.BUT—It is not a cold pack as you might expect a cold pack to be. Does not get real cold and definitely loses that cold quickly.I will use for a week to see if the ease of use and comfort outweigh my returning it.”
“I initially bought a size small to use for my elbow and it was too large to stay in place. I use it for my calf now and it fits perfectly. I am a rather small person and wish the made an extra small that I could use. I do love it though. I just take it out of the freezer and slide it on. I can walk around and do whatever I want without having to sit still for 20 minutes to ice an area.”
“I really wanted to like this but it doesn't stay cold long enough for me. I'm returning it. It's just too much money to spend on something that only provides cold for 15 minutes. $29 for that not worth it . My medical grade cold packs stay cold for 45 minutes”
