TRAKK Orbi Ball Reviews

The construction is solid and feels quality. The vibration settings are nice, even though I only use the top intensity. This appears to be a well made/designed product, BUT they put a giant button that is slightly flatter than the rest of the sphere. So, while you're rolling you're bound to press the button with your body, and either change the settings or shut it off entirely. Also the because it is slightly flatter where the button is, sometimes it will stop rolling altogether, and instead slide. It's like they didn't even use the product before mass production. Idk, maybe I was expecting too much

This ball works great on the hip and under thigh area. It does help to release my muscle. I put it there when I sit on the couch and chair. The only one problem is that I can't start it after removing from the charger if I charged them very long time. I need to put the charger back for a second, take it out, then will start OK. I am not sure if it is a defect on my particular ball or a general problem. It is a small thing, overall, it is a great massage ball and it did what I am looking for.

Bought this to treat for tendinosis in my piriformis and definitely felt pain relief. Easy to use and adjust the vibration settings. On the downside: the power button is so big that its to roll over that button while using it for therapy and it shuts off the unit or changes the setting. Done this a few times now. Annoying. Just have to be careful to not roll over that part. Also, couldn't they have charged with a USB power cord instead? Now I have one more power cord to keep track of.Overall I like it and will not return for now. See how it goes in the days ahead.

Overall this is a great product. I had been using a regular foam ball to massage my muscles, but the added vibration with this ball is a game changer! There is lots of research out there that says vibration is more effective for warming up and cooling down/stretching out your muscles, and I have experienced first hand just how effective it is. Because of this ball's small size, it's easy to carry in a gym bag and it pinpoints problem areas really well. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because if you're rolling the ball around to massage a larger area or to find that sweet spot and you roll over the hard plastic face where the control are the ball stops rolling. The face of the ball is flat, so if you roll over the face of it it stops rolling and you have to stop what you're doing to adjust the ball with your hands. This is not that big of an inconvenience though, so I still recommend this product to everyone!

Easy to use, and pretty powerful. BUT the size and placement of the on/off button makes it easy to hit as I'm rolling it around into my sore muscles. Kind of frustrating especially when I'm rolling it down to my trap and back, you sometimes just HAVE to roll around on the ball to find the spot and most times, that means I'll be inadvertantly changing the vibration setting or turning it off cuz I'll roll on top of the power button.

This came recommended from my PT, he uses them in his office and at home. I have to say it does a fairly good job of getting into those hard to reach muscles.. Like your piriformis and IT band. I also used it on my hamstrings to dig deep. My only real complaint is when I am rolling around the device will change to another setting because the button is pressed. I feel like a good fix for this would be to put a "lock" setting button or something similar on the device. Keep your setting you desire until the lock button is deactivated. It would have to be indented into the ball, but I am sure there is another solution. Had no issues with the device turning off, as it requires you to HOLD the on/off button for 4 seconds.Just another tool to add to my arsenal of injury and recovery goodies...

This is a great ball, stays charged. Great varied setting. I'd give it 5 stars but the label which is thick was poking my leg- I had to peel it off and wipe off the glue. I'm not talking like a label on a banana, it's embedded in the ball. But other than that it's a great product. Really gets in the fasciae tissue.

It's functional and gets the job done as far as muscle relief, but it's difficult to use. There are some design flaws that need to be addressed. While using, the button keeps getting depressed, so it either turns it off, changes its mode, or the whole ball slides. All which is very annoying and loses the rhythm of the work out. They need to have a hatch, flap or have two halves which one side screws on to the other, so there is no interruption when working out.
