The surface is designed to be soft, absorbent, and quick-drying, and it should not feel slippery underfoot. “Using the mat as I step out of the shower. It is completely anti slip, so feels very safe from that point of view. I have found however, that just standing on the mat as I dry off doesnt dry the bottoms of my feet (like it does with cotton bath mats I have had before) so when I step on the tiles my feet are slippery, unless I remember to wipe them with the towel, which is not something I have previously needed to do.”
