“The bottom end (shoes and socks) of my black and white-tie formal outfits looked pretty 'clunky' so I decided to spice things up. I bought a pair of opera pumps and two pairs of your shadow stripe ribbed socks. OMG they are so sleek! It's hard to imagine me going back to the initial pairing of patent leather dress shoes and black socks - boring. I catch the furtive and curious glances...”

“I must have received a dud pair with the 6 that I had ordered. While I admit the socks are beautiful and were quite comfortable, but they only managed to last two times being worn and one washing as instructed by the official Fort Belvedere YouTube video on the subject. They seem to have ripped/come apart and are no longer functional and were not subjected to any sort of abnormal amount of stress. I would attach images were I able. I was very much looking forward to these socks, but have been left very much disappointed.”

“I've purchase quality over the calf dress socks from various retailers over the years, but none rise to the level of quality as those from Fort Belvedere. Comfortable, silky soft and very well manufactured you will not be disappointed in the quality or style.”

“I recently received four pairs of over the calf dress socks in my second order from Fort Belvedere. I have been wearing them for over a month now, and they do stay up all day, in the office and commuting. I am impressed with the quality and fit of these socks. I would normally take a medium size; however, I followed the advice of the Gentleman’s Gazette and ordered the next size up, large. It was good advice. After initial washing, the socks fit snugly but not tight and settled just below my knee. The colour combinations are quite striking, but elegant. When I was a young man, it was common to find over the calf dress socks; however, now they seem to be as scarce as hen’s teeth. Today, department stores and men’s clothing shops typically only carry multi-coloured packs of mid-calf socks, usually of low quality. Consequently, I’ve had to settle for these; which inevitably, end up way below the calf, numerous times a day. Fortunately, I have found a source of high quality over the calf socks at the Gentleman’s Gazette that are excellent value for money. The sales staff at the Gentleman’s Gazette have provided professional and courteous service. I most certainly will order more socks from Fort Belvedere. Regards, Rolf McRae-Jensen”

“To start, I made a mistake on my address and the customer service here was incredibly fast and helpful in getting it corrected before the socks shipped. When I got them, I had a video waiting in my inbox to show me how to properly care for the socks. The shipping itself was very fast as well. I live in middle TN where we deal with lots of humidity and have been in dire need of socks that don’t make me sweat. These are a very thin but durable pair of socks that allow my feet to breath and are also quite comfortable! I’ll definitely be buying from Fort Belvedere again.”

“Prior to Fort Belvedere socks, my socks were way too thick for proper dress shoes and did not reach high enough to be above the calf. I was always picking them up. After watching the Gentlemen’s Gazette videos my entire wardrobe is changing. I finally know what value looks and feels like (Thank you). These socks are very high quality, a superior value, and perfect for proper fitting dress shoes. Fort Belvedere and the Gentlemen’s Gazette has quite honestly changed the way I see myself and helped me define how I want to be, feel, and look. I will indeed be purchasing more of these socks and other products from Fort Belvedere to compliment the new me…to which my wife is very pleased with and her compliments are well received. Five stars!”
