“This is the 2nd time I purchased the over the cuff socks. This time it looks like the material is not as elastic as my old ones... I purchased 4 socks this time and besides the black pair the other 3 are disappointing. Regardless I’ll keep on purchasing at your shop.”

“These socks are beautifully crafted and definitely do their job of staying up above the calf all day. However, the fit is not quite what I was expecting. Initially they were quite large like they were advertised to be, and they shrunk up in the wash as they were supposed to. After a few washes and dryings, there is still a slight bit of excess fabric around the toes and ankle, which i am not really used to. This could be due to the fact that I have wide, large feet but slim ankles. I would have liked to try the next size down, since I prefer socks to be slightly tighter rather than slightly looser. Unfortunately i made the mistake of washing all my socks at the same time, instead of doing just one first then the others, thus voiding my chance to exchange them. That being said, these are absolutely comfortable and wearable, as there is no sock bunching in the shoe, nor is there any slide down. Overall I am pleased with these socks, I would recommend them, but if you're a slimmer build and your foot size falls on the end of the provided size chart, or you are in between sizes, I think it would be a good idea to size down. If you are heavier, especially at the calves and ankles, I think the size chart would be true to size for you. I am impressed with the quality of the product and look forward to purchasing more fort belvedere items in the future.”

“Socks I have purchased from other vendors fray, lose their elasticity and sag. The Fort Belvedere socks are made of the highest quality and offer a perfect fit; and that fit lasts after multiple washings. I've received complements on these socks and recommend them highly.”

“Tried the socks on, they felt a little uncomfortable at first, but then I walked around the house with them on for a while and I got a little used to them, and they stayed up and did not roll down. All of my other socks roll down through out the day, so these are already a win! They are also really thin (in a good way), and breathable, and it felt great wearing them in the garage. The height of the socks might take some getting-used-to for me, but my feet don't sweat with these socks on, and they just feel great to wear, so my sock game needs to be upgraded. I haven't woren then out in public yet, but I described them to a few people and received a few, "Nice" from them already, so I'm excited to wear them out in town. You have introduced me to the world of finer socks, so now I'm already looking at your other products for the coming seasons. Thank you for your effots, time, and videos!”

“My problem was I couldn't find quality over the calf colored socks. I found Fort Belvedere through the Gentleman's Gazette. They had wonderful two-tone socks that make a math guy like me have a delightful challenge. I haven't worn them out in public yet but, when I go out sporting gray slacks, a predominantly pink shirt that I had made when I was in Singapore, a blue and pink tie, a custom blue blazer and a pink pocket square, I imagine I will attract a few eyeballs.
