“I expected the socks to be good, but was surprised by how excellent they really were. Outstanding quality and attention to detail. And while the product is far more important than the packaging, I must say that the high quality packaging - the box, wrapping, even the scent inside the box - really put the experience over the top. Will be ordering again. I wear these with a navy blazer and brown loafers to work on days when I'm not scheduled for formal meetings.”

All of our socks are designed to shrink to fit once they are washed and dried. If you followed our size chart on the website, they will fit you once washed. Thank you.

“I find Fort Belvedere’s shadow stripe ribbed socks to be unlike any other brand tried to date. Very fine cotton with artfully crafted color and weave that not only only looks terrific but truly hugs the foot and lower leg while fully breathable. Secure above the calf and now after two wears, can say they stay put. Color combo is very handsome and textured to accent the shoes and trousers without clash. Expertly made. Sizing recommendation suggests I order an XL for my size 13 foot. They arrived larger than I’d imagined. Washed and machine dried them and the pair seems to have shrunk just a bit to fit. So far no bunching or excess material yet noted here should one’s feet be on the cusp between suggested sizes. May try the large next time as the XL is truly as denoted. I’m unconvinced that a pair of socks should retail for $40 US regardless of quality. I’d be more inclined at $25 to order several pairs. If price is no object, then these are indeed quite comfortable and stylish.”

“These are the most comfortable socks I have worn. Great product and fast service. Be very careful on how you pull the thread to separate the socks I did find it a bit awkward. My shoe size is 10.5FFF so I have difficulty finding comfortable clothes and I am glad I found these. I already ordered more in different colors.”

“Well the title says it all, finally socks that fit across my calves and stay up. Having spent what most people would consider an obscene amount of money on OTC socks from various companies, I finally found socks that stay up and I don't have to use sock garters to keep them up. That being said my calves have a circumference 20 inches or 50.8cm so if the reader of this review is hesitant like I was at first because of calve size, I can safely say these are the ones for you. P.s. The camera on my phone decided to mess around with the colors but in actuality they are same as the pictures above.”
