My age-old Damart thermal gloves were giving up the ghost and I had developed a hole in one of the thumbs. Apart from not being a good look, it also rather negated the whole point of a glove. These are lovely and lend a splash of colour to a winter outfit. Also purchased the petrol blue and burnt orange, the latter having a particularly smoochy cashmere lining. All this and they were delivered a week ahead of time despite its being in the lead-up to Christmas. Exceptional service.

I have had many gloves over the years that were very basic. However, the gloves from Gentlemen Gazette are awesome. The gloves are a perfect fit, great style, brilliant color and look amazing. Any gentlemen wanting a sense of real sophistication during the winter months should invest in these gloves.

These gloves fit well and are well made with a great feel. I didn't have an unlined glove appropriate for dressing up. I needed something for the in between temperatures. These are an elegant color and option as they pair well with my black, navy, gray, and chocolate suits. In fact, this burgundy seems to pair well with most colors making them an often worn item.

The materials on these gloves are phenomenal. They are soft, supple, and super comfortable. Which means it's too bad I have to work this review. Through no fault of the company, I seem to have ordered the won't size, but I started wearing them and in two days the buttons came off. I will consider buying another pair in a different size.

Hi there, sorry about that. The buttons are sewn on by hand, and depending on how hard one pulls they might come off eventually. We are happy to send replacement buttons to have them sewn back on locally.

I have now had a pair of these gloves for a year, and have worn them through one spring and one fall. The colour is deep and rich, and well-represented by the photos. I find it is very versatile. The leather is soft and velvety--almost delicate--but has proven to be quite durable. The touch screen usage with these gloves is not quite perfect, but generally functional. As others have noted, the button is quite difficult to fit through the button hole at first, though it improves over time. Nonetheless, it has not yet become easy, and is a bit of a challenge to button it. I do appreciate, though, being able to close the wrist in a secure way. There are two main problems I have encountered: first, after one or two wears, one of the buttons came off, and I and to re-sow it; second, while the fit through the palm/body of the hand is good, and the finger length are correct, the fingers are significantly wider than my fingers, so the fit is not ideal. I think fit is particularly challenging in an unlined glove with less room for error as there’s no lining to compress and absorb imperfections in the fit at points. There imperfections of fit are therefore particularly acute in these gloves. Overall, these do a good job of keeping my hands warm in the spring fall, and they get constant use, and therefore fill a niche that no other glove would fill. They are a unique item, and well worth having. However, were I to want a second pair, or a replacement pair, I would look hard to find a bespoke maker so that fit would be better. In that sense, these gloves have almost been an entrée to wanting something even better.
