“Raphael's article and video convinced me that an unlined gloves with a button closure in a color other than black would be a welcome addition to my wardrobe. After reading his suggestions for matching each glove, I purchased this pair of burgundy gloves along the navy gray pair and the lined bottle green. I received the gloves in due time and was immediately impressed with the softness of the lamb leather, and the richness yet subtlety of the color. Trying them on, it was clear to me that the right glove was a little small not only in comparison to the left glove, but the the pair of navy gray's as well. I wore it for the first time on a long drive and a pressure/ friction point on my right thumb broke into my awareness. It became less so when I buttoned the wrist, but it did not stop the intrusion. I wore it for the second time to church the following day and while buttoning offending right glove, I noticed loose thread around the button hole. I gave it a gentle pull which was enough to lead me to believe that if I kept going the whole thing would unravel. So I stopped. I did get a compliment from one of the lady greeters at church ("gorgeous" is what I believe she said), but I think it's time for a replacement for quality control reasons. I wore the navy gray pair to work today and I love it so far.”

“Prior to purchasing gloves from Fort Belvedere, I had trouble with cheaper gloves that were either too large (hard to manage) or too small (hard to adequately move my fingers), and they were made of cheaper material that would look worse as time went on. These gloves, however, are absolutely beautiful. They fit perfectly, and they feel like they're made of quality leather. These gloves make me feel like I will attract more attention with my hand gestures, and they provide an element of uniqueness to my cool-weather outfits that will enable me to stand out from the crowd a little more (in a good way). I look forward to wearing these and the compliments that will come in the future.”
