“Problems with socks I had before I got the Fort Belvederes were:- socks too short and coming down giving the inelegant wrinkled look. Socks milling up and shrinking from washing. Losing shape and either stretching or becoming smaller. Socks losing their colour overtime. Socks wearing poorly resulting in wear and holes in the heel or toe, sometimes both. I have had none of these difficulties with my Fort Belvedere socks. They always stay up. They always stay in shape and look good. They always launder well. They are beautifully styled and manufactured. Because of the extremely high quality and styling of Fort Belvedere products, as well as GG's advice and videos, I am better dressed and more aware of striving to maintain my standards as a gentleman. Oh, and I have received numerous compliments on them from ladies and gentlemen and that makes me feel better about myself. Well worth the money and highly recommended.”

“Fort Belvedere claims these socks to be the best there are, and is asking prices which more or less match that claim. This of course begs the question: are they that good? Are these socks value for money? My answer is yes, but. Yes these socks are very good, and offer value for money but for one thing: fit. They are beautiful to look at, the designs being stunning, the cotton is top quality and feels wonderful, whilst so far it seems to be strong enough, they remain over the calfs even after a day of intensive use, I never ever need to pull them up, etc. etc. So very good socks. It is therefore a bit disappointing that they are just too large for my feet. I did of course buy the right size but it turns out that the socks are quite a bit too long resulting in them crumpling under my toes even after a short walk to the mailbox. This is something not happening with my other socks, bought from competing manufacturers. I do think this is partly due too there not being sufficient choice as to fit, there just being too few sizes to be chosen from. Competing brands do offer more specific sizes to be chosen from, ensuring fit has never been a problem with them, at least in my case. If this problem would be solved, Fort Belvedere certainly would be my preferred place for buying socks.”

“Awesome & very upscale packaging. Socks look great & even better in person. I hate sagging socks so after receiving these knee highs, no more problems. I wear a 10.5 shoe size & sicks are too big out of the box. Onced washed, they shrink a bit to fit properly. I may try a medium next time as the large is right on the cusp of being too big. Very elegant socks with beautiful colors.”

“I bought a lot of expensive socks in my lifetime, but never was I really satisfied with the quality or style. Until I stumbled on the website of Gentleman's Gazette. Well, I ordered 3 pair of socks from Fort Belvedere just to give it a try. I can tell you these socks are amazing... Some may call me crazy buying socks for $ 40 a pair, but believe me they are worth every penny of it. I even have to pay custom duties on top of the price, but I don't care. Once you try these socks there is no way back!”

“Matching socks to pants was always tricky, since their colors are almost never identical. With the shadow stripe, being exact is not essential, and it's actually more dapper to have more contrast, which these socks provide. I feel very stylish when wearing these socks, after all, I did purchase 13 pairs of the shadow stripe, to cover all possibilities!”
