“I normally buy a new wallet once every year. The wallets either too big or too small. Doesn't look that nice or just plain looking. I just received this wallet from gentleman's gazette, and I really love the size and feel of it. The craftsmanship is really high standard. I can see myself keeping this wallet for much longer than a year.”

“I was looking for a high quality, fashionable wallet that would last a long time. I found Sven on YouTube explaining what things to look for in a quality wallet, things like which leather is used, how the edges are folded, and the stitching. Even at the high price point I was convinced. When I received the wallet my first impression was that this was a top quality product. The leather is very nice and the color combination gives it distinction without being too flashy. The outside contrast stitching is straight and perfect and indicative of a top quality wallet. However, the inside is much different. The card pockets are not straight or symmetrical, and the stitching wanders very noticeably; much different from the outside. I believe the sewing is probably done by two or more people because of the inconsistency. I decided to keep it, and convinced myself this cosmetic “flaw” made it unique. I still believe this wallet should last a very long time, but at this price point I was expecting perfect stitching inside and out.”

Thank you for your honest review, Spencer. Our wallets are entirely handmade by skilled artisans who have perfected the craft of fine, small leather goods making for more than a century. Most high-end wallets are made with folded edges that are then cut and stitching that is visible, which does not look elegant. But they are built to last. :-)

“I love this wallet. The leather feels so soft and nice, but it doesn’t seem delicate at all. In the GG video about wallets, Raphael describes how the edges are folded and why that’s better. I haven’t been able to find any other wallet that is made this way.Other high end wallet companies with contrasting interior leather do it the easier way. Is there anyplace else to see an example like this? Anyway, love the details. It’s my favorite wallet. I want more sizes and colors. Thanks!”

“Great wallet , great quality. The leather is so soft. The color is accurate to the picture, and just love this color combo. With cards in it, it becomes a thick wallet. Lets see how it holds up over time. A bit too pricey..”

“The quality of this wallet is truly unparalleled. The flashes of color may be my favorite part. Sadly, this wallet is just too big for me. I prefer a slim wallet and would purchase a slimmer version of this artisan crafted product in a New York minute.”
