“I love red white and blue. My favorite combination of colors on a tie is the best I could ask for. I was very skeptical of buying a high end tie. Most people around me are about the “it’s a tie, why spend that much?” I’ve never bought one before and decided to try it since I graduated college and received some extra funds. I’m definitely not going back to what I had. This is now my favorite tie. If you’re someone who likes to wear ties, definitely invest in getting some higher end ties. They look and feel better. Although I did have to figure out how long my ties I wear currently are first before getting this tie. I’m 5’8” exactly, weighing around 200-210. I got the regular I tipped (usually for men 5’11”). I like the half Windsor because of its look and it’s easy. I don’t think I could do a full Windsor with this tie or I would need a longer one. It may just be my body type, but I always have to have the skinny end a full hand above my natural waistline, leaving little for the short end. Not sure if a longer tie would fix that, but that has been my observations. This tie is amazing and I definitely recommend it.”

“It’s supposed to be 142 cm but it measures 149 cm from tip to tip. I have to tie a half-windsor knot to get the correct length. This Shantung silk tie is a little too this for that knot. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful tie, much more attractive than the picture conveys.”

“This is the second color that I purchased of this tie. I very rarely need to be very dressed up and these ties work well with denim and chambray shirts and a tweed blazer. People comment on the unique look of these ties. Fort Belvedere works great for me.”

“Well constructed and well-made. Goes well with traditional seersucker for summer as well as a tattersall shirt in the winter. It should be noted that it is more fragile than a normal silk tie and should be handled with care.”

“Purchased this very tie, and today the tie arrived, carefully wrapped with tissue paper, and boxed. I had also ordered a tie bar, very elegant as well. The photo does not do this tie justice. The tie is far more beautiful than what I had anticipated. I will wear both the tie and the tie bar with a full double-breasted Navy blazer this very Sunday at church. The bronze orange is the tie I would like to order next. Raphael will treat you well, and make you look better than you are. What is there not to like?”
