These are excellent gloves. Very well made, the leather is very smooth and the Cashmere lining keeps my hands warm. The touchscreen functionality of these gloves works great and I have no problem using my phone with these gloves. Overall very well made gloves.

In Montreal, winter temperatures with wind chill can drop below -40°, that magic number at which Celsius and Fahrenheit meet. Here, having to take off gloves to use one’s smartphone isn’t merely an inconvenience but rather a painful race against time and frostbite! These gloves really do perform as advertised, registering on my smartphone no differently than my own fingertips. I held off submitting this review until I’d had a chance to live with them for an entire winter, and they still operate my touchscreen just as well—and look as good—as on the day they arrived. Though not quite as buttery as non-touchscreen lambskin gloves I own, the leather is still pleasantly soft. I usually look for dress gloves that have inside stitching at the seams, as I think this looks more refined, but the external stitching on these gloves is executed so neatly and uses such an attractive thread colour that they look debonair enough for even my dressiest non–black-tie outfits. Another potential downside of external stitching is that the exposed cut edges can start to look shabby over time, but there is not even a trace of colour fade or other signs of wear starting to happen on these Fort Belvedere gloves. I find it challenging to work the button closure myself while wearing these gloves, and once I snagged a stitch on the loop of a button shank—watch out for that. However, even if you never use them, the buttons certainly add some panache. I find that the gloves come up my wrists far enough that I don’t feel the need to fasten them against the cold. I usually take an 8.5 in gloves, but the glove-sizing instructions here showed me I was between an 8 and an 8.5. I’m glad I took Sven’s advice and ordered the half-size down, as the gloves very soon conformed to my hands, and now fit me like a, well, you-know-what. Overall, I consider these an excellent product, and hope that it won’t be too long before we’re able to buy Fort Belvedere touchscreen gloves in additional colours.

These are an excellent product, which is no surprise from Fort Belvedere. In terms of sizing, I recommend that you first watch Sven's video on glove sizing, as I do also suggest rounding down in size. I ordered the 7.5 size on a hand size of just under 8, and it was the correct choice. They are molding to my hands well. In terms of function, they are flawless. They work perfectly on all of my touchscreen devices. Another excellent product.

A fit like no other, with a button enclosure and exquisitely soft leather to match. Please note, the burgundy hue is slightly brighter than it is in photos. A fine choice for anyone who doesn't wish to wear dull-colored gloves!

I have to admit, it felt a bit odd. Sitting in Germany, following a very instructive blog on style and fashion, falling in love with what looked like wonderful craftmansship and order in the US of A gloves that hv been tailormade in Hungary, exported to the states and reimported into the Eu and Germany, attracting duties multiple times most likely. And still, I liked the approach to the craft, the dedication to quality and what I finally received was exactly as described in the relative clips. The quality beyond reproach, just the kind of thing I was looking for but so difficult to lay hands on in the average city shop. I will order more, I am already in love with those gloves, cashmere inlayed, though it is still summer over here ... A pleasure to the eye and the touch. Highly recommended...

I had purchased cheaper gloves, mostly because I did not know what I was missing out on. Now that I have purchased these gloves, there will be no going back! The fit superior to anything I could find in my local stores. The quality is also much better than anything I could find in my little town in Wyoming. I love the way that the leather feels, and the cashmere lining is so soft! Additionally, the touchscreen functionality has come in handy with the weather turning. No longer do I have to take off my gloves in the negative degree weather!

Before I had a pair of Fort Belvedere's burgundy dress gloves, I often found my hands got cold when I went for walks during colder seasons, which was extremely unfortunate because I love the browns and the whites of winter time Canada. I tried many different types of gloves to combat the cold but they either did not compliment my outfit or they were not warm enough. Now that I have started using these gloves I found that my hands stay warm and I feel confident in my outfit knowing I will never have to sacrifice warmth for style again. Overall my experience with these gloves and fort Belvedere in general has been great, I even had a friend ask where I got them because they looked great. My only criticism is that the touch screen feature doesnt seem to work on my phone, but beside that its a great product and well worth its price.
