I am very satisfied with the quality. Leather is incredibly soft to touch and luxurious, all stitches are very well made. The right one fits perfectly and the left one if a bit loose, but it has nothing to do with the quality, because my left hand is simply smaller . If you have have any doubt about the right size my advice would be to measure both your hands and choose smaller size gloves. Color is a bit lighter than in the photo.

On the wonderful journey of menswear, I decided to upgrade my winter gloves. After a bit of reading, the Fort Belvedere gloves seemed to fit the bill. Upon receiving the beautifully packaged gloves, I was blown away. Soft leather of the highest quality with a sleek yet still warm lining. The cognac color is rich and would pair well with pretty much anything. They're the PERFECT office gloves. I followed the sizing guide and measured myself to be an 8. Ordering the size 8, gave me a perfect fit. Snug but definitely not too tight. I can't recommend these gloves enough. Why do I say these gloves are tied for the best I own? Because I also picked up a pair in burgundy!

I purchased these gloves because I've been looking around for pair that was of a medium brown. I'm very happy with the quality and tight fit (I'm not a fan of bulky gloves), but I was a bit disappointed that the gloves were lighter than the photos posted online. Nevertheless, they're great looking gloves and I would still recommend them. In addition, the shipping was quick and the gloves were well packaged inside of a handsome storage box. It's those types of details that further enhanced my experience with Fort Belvedere.

Ordered these glove thinking I was getting something in quality comparable to Dents or Hestra and boy was I wrong. I received the gloves and immediately realized the stitching on one of the fingers had missed the piece of leather on the opposing side leaving a hole. So I immediately took them to FedEx to be shipped back only 4 hours after I got them, I also wrote the problem on the return slip which apparently was not read by anyone that received them. Then I had to wait almost a week and two emails later to even get a response on my 160 dollars that should have been refunded. I then get a email a few days later saying they have been worn and I could only receive store credit. One email from me later everything was made right and I got my refund but all in all not a great experience. They received the gloves December 19 and I didn't get a refund until January 2.

Dear Dillon we are sorry, you received the gloves with a hole. The slip must have been overlooked otherwise we would have refunded your money. Normally, our gloves are not damaged and the leathers we used and the workmanship is en par with Hestra and we always want to make it right for our customers. That being said, we are hiring more customer service representatives at the moment, so we can provide a smoother return experience.

I like bought a lot of FB products and plan to continue supporting, so it’s hard for me to leave a low rating. On the gloves alone, I would give four stars. Overall they are excellent. However, I found them to be a bit stiffer and tighter and shorter in the fingers than other gloves I ordered in the same size. Eventually, however, they stretched out and they fit snugly but with a little bit of stiffness. I also have another pair of nappa gloves that feel much softer. Also, please note that the color pictured is a little darker than the color of the pair I received. Not a big deal, just keep it in mind. Overall, this is a great color and glove, and you will be well served by them. The reason for the poor rating is that I have found working with customer service to be a complete hassle. No one has been rude, but I have found myself on several occasions going back and forth over and over trying to get some answers to questions that I felt were not answered by the videos. One time I waited almost a month to get an answer to a fairly brief inquiry about some other gloves, and this after being told twice that answers were coming. This was not an isolated incident. I realize that the staff is small, but this is unacceptable. It gives the impression that people should just buy their goods without bothering them with questions. These items are too expensive, however, to expect that. In sum, I want to be clear: I strongly recommend you buy this and other products. They are well made. But don’t bother reaching out if you have a question, or if you do don’t expect an answer anytime soon.
