“I originally ordered a pair of the vintage grosgrain laces for my Brooks Brothers Oxfords. Unfortunately the shoe lace ends were too big for my eyelets. I contacted FB and they immediately sent me out their own model at no cost to me. The new laces fit perfectly and make the shoes stand out in an elegant way. I absolutely would recommend their products for the quality and service I received”

“This type of broad shoelaces that go with evening wear shoes are hard to find. They are harder still to find in materials like grosgrain that match the facings used in very well made--usually bespoke--dinner jackets and trousers. Fort Belvedere is one of only a few sources for this sort of thing (see also the various bow ties in different shapes and facings). Other rarities are socks with clocks, which I have also purchased. The quality of this item and the others is excellent and the prices fair. I go back to the site from time to time to look for this type of thing.”

“Before I bought these grosgrain laces, I had plain-old small, standard shoelaces, nothing special. Since I bought these formal laces from Ft. Belvedere, the shoes now are really fine-looking. These grosgrain shoelaces really make your shoes stand-out from the crowd, in a good, gentlemanly way. These laces go well with white-tie or black-tie (with grosgrain lapels on the tuxedo) outfits. These are truly unique and should last for year. These laces easily go through the lace-holes.”
