“This is a lovely tie. You The shade of navy is elegant and, paired with the grenadine texture, makes this a versatile tie. My one complaint, which is not insignificant, is that I find the weave to be too delicate. After the first wear there were two pulled threads, one on the face and one on the side. I have to ask someone with experience how to resolve this; I don't have experience mending fabrics, but I know that snip the loose threads would almost assuredly ruin a tie like this. For now, though, every time I look at the tie it distresses me because the pulls are so obvious, if only to me. I was concerned that this would happen but felt assured by the description that this tie's weave was fine enough to resist easy pulls. No doubt the problem was caused in part by me, but I take pretty good care of my garments. If you don't baby your clothes you may want to steer clear of this grenadine or find an alternative.”

“I recently bought this tie as well as the burgundy grenadine. They are both excellent. This tie is a wardrobe staple. I am 6'2" tall and bought the "regular, self-tipped" size. It fits well and measures exactly 3.5" at its widest point.”

“Surprised to notice this tie is made in Vietnam which is a little outrageous for the price. Why can’t these be made in Italy or Europe like your other items? Disappointed”
